  • mussels(12pcs)
  • Turmeric powder -1tsp
  • Red chilli powder -1tsp
  • ½ lemon juice
  • Semolina to coat
  • Oil for frying
  • Salt as per taste


  • Clean and wash the mussels well
  • Apply salt, lemon juice, turmeric powder, chili powder and keep aside
  • Heat oil in a pan for frying
  • Coat the mussels with semolina well
  • Once oil is hot, shallow fry the mussels on both the sides
  • Serve hot with salad as a starter.
