  • Bhendi-200 gms
  • Onion-1 medium
  • Tomato-small
  • Green chilli-1
  • Jeera-1 tsp
  • Kokum petals-3 to 4
  • Turmeric powder-¼ tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil-1 tbsp

Method of Preparation

  1. In a pan add oil, once heated add the jeera and green chillies
  2. Add the onions and mix well, once translucent add the cut tomato
  3. Add the cut bhendi and mix well, add the salt, turmeric powder. cover with lid and cook it on a low flame for 10 min.
  4. Then add the kokum petals and cook for another 2 min.
  5. The bhendi bhaji is ready to serve.
