Deshell the clams by keeping one shell on, wash and apply salt
In a pan, add oil, once hot add the onions, green chillies and ginger garlic paste.
Then add the tomatoes and let it cook for 2 min
Add the turmeric powder, garam masala powder.
Add the clams and mix well, add ½ cup of water
Let it cook for 15 min.
Add the grated coconut and mix well, also add the tamarind pulp.
Let it cook for 3 min
Turn off the flame and add chopped coriander leaves
Serve hot with steamed rice.
