Prawns Potato Chops

INGREDIENTS

  • 6-7 pcs Potatoes (medium size)
  • 200gms Prawns 
  • 3 Onions
  • 1 Tomato
  • 1 Green chillies
  • 1 tsp Ginger garlic paste
  • ½tsp Turmeric powder
  • ½tsp  Red chilli powder
  • ½tsp Pepper powder
  • Coriander leaves to garnish
  • Oil for frying
  • Salt as per taste

Method of Preparation

Prawn filling Preparation:

  1. Take oil in a pan, add onion, green chillies, ginger garlic paste, and stir
  2. After 3 min add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, pepper powder, and mix well
  3. Add prawns, let it cook with the masala. Then add tomatoes
  4. Let the prawn filling cook for 10 min
  5. Once done add the chopped coriander.

Chops Preparation:

  1. Boil the potatoes in a pressure cooker for 2-3 whistles
  2. Once done, peel the skin of the potatoes and mash them ,with the masher
  3. Take a ball size of mashed potato in your palm,make hollow depression and add a spoonful of prawn filling
  4. Roll it into a ball and gently flatten
  5. Give a egg wash and coat it with semolina
  6. Shallow fry in oil on both the sides till golden brown.
